The PDA Advisory Board is a carefully selected group of individuals renowned in their particular field of expertise.
Collectively, this provides PDA members with access to a very wide
range of skills available to support the aims of the PDA.
Activities of the Advisory Board
The PDA Advisory Board will be involved in a wide range of activities
depending on their specific areas of expertise.

Acting as the defence counsel in the event of any claims being
made against members or in the event of a prosecution

Acting as mentors to members involved in employment disciplinary
or professional disciplinary actions when appropriate.

Providing a source of knowledge for members requiring assistance
via the interactive Question & Answer facility in the
Advice
Centre

Assisting with the provision of courses and the organisation of
conferences

Co-ordinating research and generating written articles and case
studies to further populate the
Advice
Centre

Helping to continually develop and deliver PDA policy in keeping
with the broader aims of the PDA

To assist members on a direct consultancy basis with developmental
projects
Individual PDA Advisory Board members will be involved to a greater
or lesser extent in different areas depending on their own particular
expertise.
