Co-ordinating all of the activities provided by the PDA and also developing new services, direction and strategy is the PDA office based team.

Dedicated to the core aims of the PDA and passionate about defending the interests of the individual pharmacist are the people who are directly employed by PDA.

Activities of the office based team

The core aims of the PDA require the organisation to be able to react to problems being faced by members, and also to proactively develop the broader PDA agenda.

The Office based team will support members in the following ways:
  • Generally manage the affairs of the PDA
  • Act as the first point of contact for you when you encounter problems whilst at work
  • Ensure that the very best defence can be mounted in the event of a claim being made against a member
  • Develop and commission the research agenda to underpin the interests of the individual pharmacist
  • Ensure that the agenda of the individual pharmacist is promulgated by lobbying the relevant organisations whenever and wherever it matters
