News & ViewsCreating a momentum for change will be an important prerequisite
for ensuring that the interests of the individual pharmacist
can be properly addressed within the profession. It will be necessary to create a two-way flow of information, which will ensure that:
This will be done in a number of ways: Latest NewsWe will keep you informed of any general developments by posting any news that is relevant to the individual pharmacist agenda on this section of the site. This may be news of a general nature, e.g. the impact of new European legislation on employment rights, or it may be more specific, e.g. results of an important pharmacy test case or a favourable pharmacist Employment Tribunal. Press Releases And Position StatementsWe will ensure that awareness can be heightened by periodically producing press releases and position statements to the press. In this way it will be possible to raise an intelligent debate and so begin to create an environment for change. Over time, an archive of press releases and position statements will be developed.
PDA "Insight" NewsletterA regular newsletter, called INSIGHT, will be produced and distributed automatically at no cost to all PDA members. INSIGHT will contain details of all the latest developments, results of any lobbying campaigns, risk management issues, practice guidance and details of any emerging issues that may affect the individual pharmacist agenda.
SurveysThis on-line facility allows the PDA to obtain an accurate concensus from pharmacists on various matters of concern to the profession.
VotesThis on-line facility provides a quantitative view of the overall level of feeling on a particular subject. You will also discover how your colleagues feel about an issue by studying the constantly changing results displayed here. Have Your SayThis on-line facility provides a qualitative view, and recognising that you may have a specific area of expertise, allows you to contribute to matters that are currently under consideration in a more detailed way. |
