The Pharmacy Show

We are excited to be exhibiting on Stand PC56 at the Pharmacy Show this year, which takes place on the 7th and 8th October 2018.

Sun 7th - Mon 8th October 2018

Visit us at the NEC in Birmingham where we are proudly sponsoring the GP Pharmacy Theatre and the Women in Pharmacy session, which takes place in the Keynote Theatre on Sunday 7th October between 4.40 and 5.25pm.

The GP Pharmacy Theatre will support clinical pharmacists in their new practice-based roles and offer advice to those keen to integrate community pharmacy with general practice. We will be running 7 sessions in the theatre over the course of the 2-day show.

The Women in Pharmacy Keynote panel will explore the issues which are acting as disincentives and barriers to getting more women involved in the leadership of the profession at every level. With few women in elected roles in some pharmacy organisations, even fewer in senior executive roles, we know that the sector is not making the most of the skills and contributions of the majority of pharmacists who are women.

Discussing the issues and how to support women in all aspects of the juggling roles that many undertake so that they can participate more and develop their careers and contributions, will be a panel of leading women from across the sector. The debate will be chaired by our very own Claire Ward, Director of Public Affairs at the PDA who will be contributing to the debate around the experiences of female PDA members.
