PDA Union West England and Wales Regional Committee

Meet the PDA Union members who serve on the West and Wales Regional Committee:

Anne Davies

“I qualified as a pharmacist in 1990, and have worked in community practice since then, mainly as an employee, but also doing some locum work.
I first joined the PDA when I saw how colleagues had been helped by the PDA support team.
I continue to be involved with the PDA as I strongly believe in what the association stands for, i.e. looking after the interests of individual pharmacists.
This is especially important as workplace pressures continue to increase, and I believe in the PDA’s commitment to helping to improve patient safety and care through improvement of working conditions.”

Keith Davies

Richard Evans

West and Wales Region Representative on the National Executive Committee

Khurshid Hussein

Helen Lewis

Helen qualified as a pharmacist in 1990 and worked for Boots for 27 years in various pharmacist, management, deployment and field roles. Helen is now a community locum, trade union rep and PDAU Regional Official for Wales and the West.

Baguiasri Mandane (Hospital Pharmacist, Leicestershire)

“I graduated from De Montfort University in 2014. Then went onto complete my pre-registration training at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and stayed on to do my succeeding current junior residency training.

My main aim as a Hospital Employee PDA Representative for the West and Wales Region is to guide and support all the members and also to raise awareness of the benefits of being a member of the PDA Union.”
