PDA is seeking a new Policy Officer

The PDA is pleased to announce that it is seeking an additional Policy Officer to join the existing policy team in providing advice, analysis and guidance to a variety of audiences including members, colleagues and external stakeholders.

Location: Birmingham/flexible
Contract Type: Permanent, part-time (approx. 22.5 hours per week, negotiable)
Closing Date: Friday 30 April 2021, 5pm

The successful candidate will have experience in the hospital pharmacy sector and be involved in a broad range of activities to support the PDA’s extensive campaigning, policy development and direct support for our members.

A key strength of the PDA is our expertise in pharmacy regulation and practice. The focus of the role will be in the field of regulation, legislation and policies, directly relating to pharmacists/pharmacy practice in each of the four UK home nations. We are seeking an individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to understand, interpret and confidently articulate sometimes complex subject areas.
