Boots Ballot: Read the latest PDAU communications about this important issue

The PDAU has issued further communications to eligible Boots pharmacists, on the same day that ballot papers have been dispatched to their home addresses. You can view the latest communications online here.

Tue 19th February 2019 PDA Union

During this ballot campaign the PDAU have been sending communications direct to the home addresses of those eligible to vote (via the appointed independent person who is managing the process), sending items into Boots branches via the weekly red bag, as well as messaging PDAU members and making themselves available via social media and online in the company’s pharmacy unscripted forum, which is available to Boots pharmacists.

You can read the latest publication here.  The publication helps explain some of the factors which pharmacists have asked us about.

We would like to invite any pharmacist still deciding how to vote, to contact us and ask any questions they feel would help them reach a decision.  Boots pharmacists are also actively encouraged to access the pharmacy unscripted forum to read and contribute to the debate happening there.  We believe you will see for yourself the difference between the advantages of PDAU recognition and how the company would rather control your input into your safety and reward at work

Ballot papers have been distributed to the home addresses of eligible pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists on Monday 18 February.

If you consider that you are eligible to vote and have not received a ballot paper by 22 February 2019, please contact the CAC Case Manager, Linda Lehan, by email at llehan@cac.gov.uk giving your full name and address.
