The PDA engage members in a variety of ways and is committed to continuing to support you, listen to your views and campaign for change. Our regional committees bring members from a particular geographical area together and their sector groups connect members from parts of the profession, however, we recognise that there are other characteristics that can bring groups of pharmacists together. Read on to find out what the PDA has to offer and how you can get involved.

• Become a PDA Rep

  We are recruiting members to become PDA ambassadors and play a key role in supporting our work, together with PDA staff, to increase awareness of the PDA and enhance our membership offer. Alongside helping to develop our engagement and support for PDA members.

• PDA Union

  The PDA Union exists to represent, defend and support the interests of members either individually or collectively in respect of their Terms & Conditions in dealing with employers and/or outside organisations.

• PDA Member Networks

  The PDA was created by pharmacists for pharmacists and continues to exist for pharmacists. A significant way that pharmacists, pharmacy students and trainees can get involved or engage with its work is through member Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Networks.

• PDA Education

  The PDA's Education Hub is an online platform that provides FREE training and support to PDA members.

• Member Voice

  In this section, PDA members share their thoughts and experiences on the issues that matter.

• PDA Students

  We understand that throughout your degree, you work hard to achieve your goals, with many of you preparing for exams and submitting coursework all alongside working in various pharmacy settings in the evenings and at weekends.

• PDA Trainee Pharmacists

  The trainee pharmacist year is the culmination of 5 years of hard work and dedication and is the final step on your journey to becoming a qualified pharmacist.

• PDA Early Careers Network

  The PDA Early Careers Network provides a space for trainee pharmacists and pharmacists in the first five years of their career to connect with each other on the issues which matter to them.

• Global

  The PDA is focused exclusively on pharmacists in the UK, however, the profession, the trade union movement and the wider health sector each have global dimensions. Several major employers of pharmacists are multinational corporations.
