  • GFTU Training – FREE online and face to face training for all PDA members

    As part of the PDA’s affiliation with the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU), members can access a range of online and face to face courses at low or no cost.  

  • CV-writing and interview skills 2024

    Mon 22nd January 2024 - Fri 31st January 2025

    This course will help members who are looking for career progression or new opportunities. Members will receive advice on developing their CVs and preparing for interviews so that they can effectively advertise their skills and greatest strengths. 

  • Revision programme for those sitting the June 2024 assessment

    Mon 1st April - Mon 24th June 2024

    This programme is designed to support members revising for the GPhC assessment on 25 June 2024. The programme is only available to PDA members who are eligible to sit the assessment. 

  • Support programme for trainee pharmacists

    Mon 1st April - Mon 24th June 2024

    The PDA supports members in every stage of their career. In order to help trainee pharmacists with their assessment in June, the PDA has developed four programmes that are completely free to trainee members. 

  • It’s time to address discrimination: ‘Standing up for sitting down’

    Tue 4th June 2024 (1:00pm - 2:00pm)

    PDA members are invited to the launch of the PDA Ability Network’s campaign against disability discrimination, which aims to secure reasonable adjustments for pharmacists with disabilities or long-term health conditions. 

  • Come along to the PDA LGBT+ networking event

    Wed 5th June 2024 (7:30pm - 8:30pm)

    This year, join the PDA LGBT+ Network at their next networking event to celebrate Pride Month! 

  • PDA Reps – Part One

    Tue 18th - Wed 19th June 2024

    This course is for all PDA Reps who have completed the PDA Reps Induction online. All workplace reps who will be supporting members with issues should complete this training. Regional committee members, members of the EDI committees, and student reps are also welcome to attend. 

  • PDA Reps – Part Two: Organising and Recruiting

    Tue 16th - Wed 17th July 2024

    This course is for all PDA Reps who have completed the PDA Reps Induction online and preferably PDA Reps - Part One. All workplace reps should complete this training. Regional committee members, members of the EDI committees, and student reps are also welcome to attend.
