  • GFTU Training – FREE online and face to face training for all PDA members

    As part of the PDA’s affiliation with the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU), members can access a range of online and face to face courses at low or no cost.  

  • CV Writing and Interview Skills

    Mon 3rd February - Wed 31st December 2025

    The aim of the course is to help members feel more confident when applying and interviewing for new jobs and positions. 

  • Reps Online Induction

    Thu 6th March - Wed 31st December 2025

    This online training course is for new PDA Workplace Reps, regional or equality committee members and NEC members. This course should be completed as soon as possible by all PDA activists. 

  • Getting the best from your relationship with your supervisor (Being a mentee)

    Tue 15th July - Sun 31st August 2025

    Being a mentee is not a passive role. To get the most from mentoring, be that formal or informal mentoring, you need to be engaged and focused on your part of the relationships.  

  • How to thrive in your trainee year

    This event brings together members that are at the beginning of their trainee year to talk about the foundation year training.

    This PDA member workshop covers what happens in the body and mind when stressed, looks at practices that can help, and explores the science behind these practices.

    Here, PDA Reps can analyse the challenges of being interviewed by the media.
