The PDA is focused exclusively on pharmacists in the UK, however, the profession, the trade union movement and the wider health sector each have global dimensions. Several major employers of pharmacists are multinational corporations.

The PDA, therefore, has relationships with appropriate organisations outside of the UK and contributes to global initiatives.

The PDA is also affiliated with several wider groups because just as individuals achieve more by joining together, trades unions can achieve more by working together.  Some of those bodies also operate internationally. Learn more about PDA’s affiliations here.
