VACCINATIONS: All vaccinations delivered by suitably trained pharmacists have always been covered by indemnity insurance as part of the standard PDA membership apart from Covid-19. For new membership renewals after January 1st, 2026, Covid-19 vaccinations are now also automatically covered.

GFTU Training – FREE online and face to face training for all PDA members

As part of the PDA’s affiliation with the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU), members can access a range of online and face to face courses at low or no cost.

Wed 1st July 2026 - Sat 31st July 2027

The PDA’s affiliation to the GFTU gives further development opportunities to PDA members.

The GFTU has a new programme of face-to-face and online courses that include:

  • Tackling Sexual Harassment
  • Women in Leadership
  • Bitesize Sessions – Employment law
  • Handling Disciplinaries and Grievances
  • And more!

Membership is FREE to pharmacy students, trainee pharmacists and for the first three months of being newly qualified.
