Along with the rest of the panel, Barinder examined what has changed since last year’s webinar, including what pharmacy organisations have done to tackle racism, as well as what more needs to be done and the barriers to change.
As an actively anti-racist organisation, the PDA is constantly looking at ways to implement evidence-based strategies that will actually be effective at tackling racism. During the webinar, Barinder explained the recent work that the PDA’s BAME Network has accomplished, all of which has been devoted to tackling racism in pharmacy, such as the PDA Anti-racist Pharmacy Toolkit and hosting panel sessions.
