PDA’s working hours during Easter

The PDA will operate different working hours during the Easter bank holiday. If you need our help over this period, our opening times can be found below.

Thu 1st February 2018 The PDA

As we are approaching the Easter bank holiday, we have amended our usual working hours to take that into account.

The PDA offices will be open at the following times over the Easter period:

Wednesday 28 March – 08.30 – 18.00
Thursday 29 March – 08.30 – 18.00
Friday 30 March – CLOSED (for Good Friday)
Monday 2 April – CLOSED (for Easter Monday)
Tuesday 3 April – 08.30 – 18.00

Outside of these hours, members will be able to access our outsourced 24-hour advice line on  0121 694 7017.

Whereas the PDA and PDA Union employs pharmacists and lawyers that give a highly specialised service to our members on employment, regulatory, professional and medical negligence matters, the 24-hour advice line will provide general legal advice but will not be able to provide it bearing in mind any pharmacy related nuances.

The lawyers providing services for the 24-hour advice line will not be able to assist in the reporting of a dispensing error and is highly unlikely to specialise in pharmacy specific matters. As employment and locum matters can often impact on a pharmacist’s registration, we would advise that you ONLY seek advice for these matters within normal office hours and ONLY use the outsourced advice line in case of an emergency.
