VACCINATIONS: All vaccinations delivered by suitably trained pharmacists have always been covered by indemnity insurance as part of the standard PDA membership apart from Covid-19. For new membership renewals after January 1st, 2026, Covid-19 vaccinations are now also automatically covered.

    To my legal advisor, a particular thank you to you for being there right from the beginning. Your support, advice and reassurance throughout some very difficult moments genuinely meant a great deal to me, and I will always be grateful for the way you handled things both professionally and personally.

    To my union representative, an equally massive thank you to you as well. Your support, guidance, and calm advice throughout this process have meant an enormous amount to me.     I think it is good to raise awareness of the importance of joining the PDA. Many times when things are smooth sailing, we just never expect sudden unexpected and unwelcome changes which could lead to stressful situations. Although being part of the PDA might not prevent such situations, it provides a platform for us to seek advice, guidance and support so I would definitely advocate all pharmacists to join the PDA, especially given the current climate of the sector.

    I’ve got a very good news. I passed my exam. I’ve been crying since I got my result. I wanted to thank you. I’ve always been telling people that if you (the PDA) did not call me that day when I got my June result and talked to me and advised what to do next especially going into prov reg, I wouldn’t have been strong again and restart all over again. I’ve been working as provisional for the past 3 weeks which will definitely help me to start on my own. I really don’t know how to thank you enough for everything. You have been an amazing supporter throughout that horrible time
