PDA Reps Network in Lloyds

Meet the PDA Reps that make up our network in LloydsPharmacy.

As the recognised independent trade union representing LloydsPharmacy store pharmacists, the PDA has built a network of trained representatives. Supported by PDA staff, the network are LloydsPharmacy pharmacists standing up for their colleagues. Here is the team.

Eddie Njenga

PDA Regional Representative for South East England

I am and have been a long-standing member of the PDA. I have participated as a PDA Regional Representative and was part of the TUPE committee that negotiated employee terms on behalf of Sainsbury’s staff in 2016 when LloydsPharmacy took over.

I am looking forward to undertaking the role of PDA Representative at LloydsPharmacy and feel positive about my abilities to fairly represent my colleagues on behalf of LloydsPharmacy and the PDA.

I am prepared to learn all the legal attributes of this role and will be fully committed to bringing through fairness and integrity for the good of both parties.

Feroz Jussab

PDA Regional Representative for East Midlands

I currently work as a Mental Health Pharmacist Multi-Site Manager covering both North and South Warwickshire. I have spent my entire ten-year career thus far with LloydsPharmacy. I completed my pre-reg in 2011, after a brief stint as a relief manager I went on to manage two community pharmacies over 5 years before embarking on my next career path to mental health pharmacy. I completed my post graduate certificate in psychiatric therapeutics in 2019, with support from LloydsPharmacy and the NHS. I am a massive advocate for great working conditions and empowering personnel. I have extensive HR experience within a corporate organisation and currently the HR lead for my region. Most important of all, I am a pharmacy enthusiast through and through!

Alveena Hareem

PDA Regional Representative for the Midlands

I’m in my 15th year as a pharmacist working for LloydsPharmacy, so have been present for and in the midst of change after change. Now, I have the opportunity to represent my pharmacist colleagues within LloydsPharmacy with the PDA.

Voicing concerns and gaining clarity on often complex issues on behalf of members then allows them to navigate changes in a fully informed and therefore fairer manner. This is key, I’m here to help, support and defend you.

Pharmacists are valuable members of the healthcare community who spend their time, expertise, and energy caring for their patients. It’s an honour for me to play my part as a PDA Representative, to ensure that pharmacists are also taken care of and appropriately protected during the course of their employment, so they are valuable yes, but valued too.
