Guidance on the “Remote Signing on” in the Pharmacy record by a pharmacist
The question of providing pharmacy services safely (including dispensing services) has always concerned pharmacists due to the potential impact on patient care.

The PDA
Parliament placed an express responsibility on pharmacists to “secure the safe and effective running of the pharmacy”.
The regulatory guidance issued shortly after the introduction of the legislation laid out the steps that a pharmacist would need to take before he should “sign-on” as a responsible pharmacist.
