Joint statement – Boots and the PDA (6 November 2024)

The PDA Union and Boots have released their latest joint statement following their Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meeting, which was held on 6 November 2024.

Boots UK and the Pharmacists’ Defence Association Union (PDA Union) held their Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) on Wednesday 6 November at Lenton House, Nottingham.

The JCC focuses on matters for consultation on a collective basis and will not discuss issues relating to individuals. The JCC is not a negotiating forum, anything for negotiation (matters relating to pay, hours or holidays) are discussed at the Joint Negotiating Body (JNB) which meets annually.

The meeting was chaired by Mo Hassam, Director of Stores and was attended by the Regional and National PDA Union Representatives as well representatives from Boots senior leadership and HR teams.
