Joint Statement – Boots UK and PDAU Joint Consultative Committee

The impact of the Covid 19 virus is affecting all elements of our society, and as a result the demands on community pharmacy have increased substantially.

At this time Boots and the PDA Union feel it is important that we allow you the time to focus on supporting colleagues, customers and patients.

As such, we have agreed to postpone the planned Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) which was due to take place on the 20th April. Boots and the PDAU remain in regular contact and the next JCC is scheduled to take place on the 1st July. We are open to hosting a virtual meeting via zoom should the need arise before July.

Kind regards,

Anne Higgins, Director of Stores Pharmacy, Boots UK
Paul Day, Director, PDA

The Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) brings together PDAU representatives from across the company to discuss matters of interest with senior company representatives and operates alongside the Joint Negotiating Body (JNB) where pay and other matters are negotiated between the two parties.

The JCC at Boots meets quarterly and PDA members at Boots who want to discuss matters or have further questions should contact their local PDAU representative.
