A number of PDA Union members at Lloyds Pharmacy are receiving advice from the union about the company’s request that they “re-pay” the bonus payments which they were recently paid.
Like most employment issues of this nature, individuals should obtain specific advice from their trade union about the rights and responsibilities they and the employer has in their specific circumstances.
The union is then able to represent its members either individually or collectively.
PDAU members at the company who have not yet contacted us, and want to obtain such advice, are encouraged to contact our offices ASAP.
Pharmacists employed at Lloyds who are not yet members of the PDA can join here: https://www.the-pda.org/join/
New members do not usually get assistance with issues that occurred before they join the union, however in situations affecting a large group of pharmacists the union may be able to provide some support if new members can show they joined as soon as they were aware of the issue.
The situation about bonus payments has already been reported in the trade media, for example: https://www.chemistanddruggist.co.uk/news/lloyds-tells-pharmacists-give-back-bonuses-paid-error
