Northern Ireland Healthcare Award Winners 2020 Revealed

The 21st Northern Ireland Healthcare Awards recently took place at Belfast’s Europa Hotel to pay tribute to a number of the sector’s notable trailblazers, and the positive impact they have forged for the benefit of their patients and peers. The PDA was delighted to once again sponsor the Student Leadership category of the awards.

There were 10 awards categories spanning the different corners of the profession, the titles ranged from Community Pharmacy Practice of the Year to Pharmacy Student Leadership.

As the ceremony reached its closing moments for the 21st year, the recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was announced as Professor Peter Passmore in recognition of his tremendous contributions to Aging and Geriatric Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast and beyond.

This year, the Northern Ireland Healthcare Awards was delighted to raise much-needed funds for its sponsored charity, Crohn’s and Colitis UK (Northern Ireland).

Each year the PDA sponsor the Student Leadership category in the Northern Ireland, Welsh and Scottish Pharmacy Awards. The full list of 2020 Northern Ireland award winners can be found below.
