We are seeking a Policy Officer to support the PDA Policy team in providing advice, analysis and guidance to a variety of audiences including colleagues and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of PDA activities, strategies and publications in the area of campaigning and policy work.
A key strength of the PDA is our expertise in pharmacy regulation and practice. The majority of the policy officer’s work will be in the field of regulation, law and other policies directly relating to pharmacists/pharmacy practice in each of the 4 UK home nations. There will also be issues affecting the wider health service including pharmacy and some employment policy, though the majority is pharmacy specific. The ability to understand, challenge and communicate this subject area will be crucial in this role.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000-£47,000 p/a (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time or part-time will be considered (22.5-37.5 hours per week, negotiable).
