PDA calls on members to share their views on the role of a DPP

The PDA has launched a survey to ask pharmacist independent prescribers about their views on Designated Prescribing Practitioners (DPPs). The responses will support the PDA’s policies and stakeholder engagement activities regarding independent prescribers.

Tue 2nd April 2024 The PDA

As the responsibilities of pharmacists continue to evolve, the availability of DPPs is becoming more important.

To support this, the PDA wants to hear from members about their views on the role of DPPs, personal experiences, and the perceived opportunities and barriers of becoming a DPP.

The results of the survey will help inform the PDA’s activities around this topic. The information will be used to make recommendations, influence future NHS, government, and higher education institution policy, and support access to DPPs for PDA student members.

PDA members who are independent prescribers are invited to complete this short survey by Friday 19 April. It should only take two minutes to complete.
