Ahead of the launch, the PDA surveyed its members to hear about the preparations and their experiences ahead of the go-live date. Over 3,500 PDA members provided feedback which has been invaluable in helping to highlight the concerns that frontline pharmacists had around staffing levels, training and managing patient expectations, as well as their general optimism about the service itself.
The PDA would like to keep this dialogue going and hear from pharmacists working in community pharmacy in England about how things are going, how effective the service implementation has been, how patients are responding, and how the new service is contributing to their workloads.
This is an ongoing survey, so pharmacists are being asked to complete it regularly to keep the PDA informed of their experiences of the service and any feedback they may have.
The PDA will use the survey results to further support members and develop future services.
Pharmacists are being asked to complete the survey below.
