PDA encourages members to sign up to the ACTNow wellbeing campaign

The PDA is proud to promote the ACTNow wellbeing campaign from its charity partners, Pharmacist Support, which launches today on World Pharmacists' Day (25 September 2022). ACTNow aims to improve the wellbeing of those studying and working in pharmacy.

Starting today on World Pharmacists’ Day and continuing over the next four weeks, Pharmacist Support, the profession’s independent charity, will be providing pharmacists with FREE and exclusive wellbeing information and practical materials.

In Pharmacist Support’s recent survey, nine out of ten pharmacists said they were at risk of burnout, and seven out of ten felt that work had negatively affected their mental health and wellbeing. As a result of this, the ACTNow wellbeing campaign will focus on breaking the silence on mental health and wellbeing, transforming workplace cultures, developing the pharmacy team, and prioritising individual wellbeing.

To receive the free wellbeing resources, sign up to the campaign.

SIGN UP NOW

Pharmacist Support is the profession’s independent charity that runs three ACTNow wellbeing campaigns annually, to ensure pharmacists are well supported throughout the year. The three ACTNow wellbeing campaigns are dedicated to students, trainees, and pharmacists.

ACTNow encourages individuals and teams to:

  • Allow time for wellbeing
  • Consider the needs of others
  • Take action.
  • Now!

Pharmacists can start improving their health and wellbeing by signing up to the campaign today.

Get involved

The PDA and its charity partners Pharmacist Support recommend that all pharmacists sign up to this wellbeing campaign. By doing so, pharmacists will gain access to a range of useful and free resources that can hugely help them in their day-to-day life. Pharmacists can sign up to the ACTNow campaign here.
