This webinar was run alongside the PDA’s November 2021 Assessment Revision Programme which was also run exclusively for members.
During the webinar, PDA Workplace Reps Holli Brown, Navinder Singh and Fayaz Kasia who have all recently sat the GPhC assessment online in a Pearson Vue Test Centre, gave a first-hand account of their experiences of sitting the assessment.
The top tips from PDA Workplace Reps were to:
- Practise long division and rounding decimals so you don’t get caught out on simple maths.
- For calculations, practise identifying what the question is asking. This should help with your speed and accuracy during the assessment.
- If you can, practise using a whiteboard before the assessment.
- Try and get an early night and use techniques like box breathing to stay calm.
Below is some feedback received from the webinar.
PDA member, Masouda Nahari said, “Thank you for the very informative webinar on preparing for the trainee exam. I also found the PDA assessment revision course really helpful.”
Another PDA member continued, “Thanks for hosting the meeting and answering our burning questions regarding the GPHC assessment.”
An additional PDA member added, “I found the webinar really useful, especially for a morale boost.”
Good luck to all those sitting the assessment tomorrow (16 November 2021)!
