PDA issues update on how members access PDA Plus

The PDA is updating it members about a small change to how they access PDA Plus, the PDA's benefits and discounts platform.

Fri 18th September 2026 The PDA

What is PDA Plus?

As part of the PDA membership package, members can benefit from exclusive special offers. Data from the scheme shows that in the first half of 2026, individual PDA members took advantage of more than 160 different offers. Examples of the wide range of offers taken up include cinema tickets, gym memberships, shopping vouchers, experience days, and discounts on products for themselves, their homes, and their family.

Access to PDA Plus is included in membership for no extra charge, and the scheme savings calculator shows that PDA members could save on average £510 per year by using a small proportion of the benefits available through the PDA Plus platform. While those who take up the offers do save, other members may never have accessed the scheme, and the PDA is encouraging all members to consider taking advantage of what is available.

What’s changing?

From Thursday 1 October 2026, PDA members will need to register for a free account to use the platform. Previously, members could browse many offers without signing in, but from this date, registration will be required to view and redeem offers.

What members need to do

The next time a PDA member visits the platform after 1 October, they will be prompted to create their account. It takes less than a minute, and it’s a one-time step, meaning once a member is registered, they’ll be able to use the platform exactly as before.

Why the change is happening

This change helps the PDA keep the platform secure and ensures the offers and benefits available to members continue to be protected. It also means the PDA can better understand how members are using and benefiting from the platform, so it can keep improving.

Look out for more improvements

The PDA is also working on some exciting upgrades to the platform, coming later this year, including access to more offers and the ability to track savings. The PDA will keep all members updated.
