The campaign invites pharmacists from all sectors to post images that share a snapshot of what pharmacy looks like during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The PDA exists to represent individual pharmacists, pharmacy students and pre-regs, many of whom have been working tirelessly to ease the strain on the healthcare system by working long hours and overtime to help patients in need during this difficult time. We recognise that COVID-19 will have had a different impact on each of our members and we want to make sure that pharmacists from all sectors feel appreciated and represented for the hard work and dedication made each day.
Help us to shine a light on the profession by posting photos on social media that show what pharmacy looks like for you and don’t forget to use the campaign hashtag #PharmacistsInAction with a short sentence summarising a typical day for a pharmacist on the frontline.
How to get involved
We are encouraging pharmacists to share a photo in a work setting with a short description of a typical workday.
