Revision programme
Created by experienced pharmacists with backgrounds in writing assessment questions, the PDA’s FREE revision programme will help to prepare members for their assessment.
This self-directed online programme includes:

- Multiple practice case studies
- Two timed mock ‘exams’
- Revision tips
- Guidance on the process for sitting the assessment
- Guidance on what to do if you do not pass

Live calculations sessions
The PDA’s live calculations sessions, led by experienced pharmacists, will give trainees a chance to practice calculations with immediate support. Attendees will be able to ask questions about the reasons behind the answers. There’s a limit of 25 people per session, and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
The event will focus on:
- Dilutions and displacement values
- Common calculation errors made in part 1 paper.
Those who are struggling with calculations or need a refresher are encouraged to register.

Get mentally prepared for the assessment (Online workshop)
The PDA has teamed up with charity partner Pharmacist Support for their upcoming trainee ACTNow wellbeing campaign. As part of this weeklong campaign, the PDA is hosting an online Pharmacist Support Get Mentally Prepared Workshop for trainees that are feeling anxious about the upcoming summer assessment. This live session will run on Tuesday 23 May from 7 pm to 8.15 pm, and will look at:
- Strategies trainees can implement to help them look after their wellbeing explore relaxation and meditation
- The science behind visualisation and how to use it
- How our thoughts can impact how we feel
- The importance of sleep
- Other areas related to exam preparation.
