Wearing a pronoun badge is a simple but effective way of signalling that you respect people’s pronouns and their gender identity. This can mean a lot for colleagues and patients who may feel invisible, or who may be struggling with their gender identity within the pharmacy context. Pronoun badges can also help to open up conversations about gender identity and raise awareness of gender diversity.
There are 5 different styles of badges available to order:
- He/him/his
- She/her/hers
- They/them/theirs
- She/they
- He/they
You may order one or more badges for yourself, or you might like to order a range of badges for colleagues to use at your workplace or university.
Hard copy flyers that explain the pronoun badges may be ordered for use on noticeboards, in staff/common room areas, and to give to colleagues by hand. An electronic version is also available to be emailed around and shared on social media. The badges and flyers are FREE and are available to order here.
