PDA provide guidance for pharmacists at Lloyds

The PDA have produced some general guidance in response to the growing number of pharmacists asking them for assistance as a result of the LloydsPharmacy (Lloyds), so-called: “transformation and harmonisation programme”.

The PDA have produced some general guidance for pharmacists at Lloyds who have concerns about the company’s current proposals to close or sell branches, make redundancies and amend contracts. While each pharmacist with a case should have tailored support based on their individual circumstances, the general guidance should help highlight pharmacists’ rights at work during the company’s action.

The 9-page document explains some of the key aspects of redundancy and contractual change, including the consequences for those who have been transferred from another employer such as those who previously worked for Sainsbury’s pharmacy until that became part of Lloyds. View the document below.
