The resources include an example letter for members of the public to send to their MPs and a lobby pack, with helpful information and advice.
The Prescription Charges Coalition created the resources after conducting research, which found that vital medicine to keep people with long-term conditions well is unaffordable for many patients in England. This has resulted in people cutting their medicine in half to make it last longer or completely going without it, leading to them relying on NHS services more or even missing work due to feeling so unwell.
These resources are available to download for patients who are struggling to afford their prescriptions and any others who want to support the campaign to provide free prescriptions.
