PDA to host member event to tackle key issues in Scotland

The PDA is holding a free member-exclusive event in Scotland to discuss how to improve the sector and build a brighter future for pharmacists. The event has been designed to address the member concerns raised earlier this year by pharmacists participating in the Scotland Regional Committee event survey.

Sat 16th March 2024 The PDA

This face-to-face evening event is being run by the PDA Scotland Regional Committee and will take place in Glasgow at 6.15 pm on Monday 20 May. The session will cover a range of key issues, including the following:

  • Pay, pensions, and collective bargaining
  • Stress, workload, and health and safety
  • Independent prescribing
  • Organising for change

Paul Flynn, PDA National Officer for Scotland said, “We are so pleased to be hosting this inaugural meeting and hope that there will be an appetite within our membership in Scotland to come together and work on developing solutions to the challenges we all face. The PDA always stands ready to support its members whenever we are needed but it’s energizing to be able to create space to work collectively and for our members to develop themselves and their networks of peers.”

This event will provide members with networking opportunities and the chance to learn more about the Scotland Regional Committee and the work of the PDA.

This event is open to all PDA members in Scotland. More information can be found here.
