The STUC calendar features numerous conferences, for women workers, black workers, disabled workers, and LGBT+ workers and the PDA sends delegations of members to each of them. Those who have a desire to be involved with any of these conferences in the future or would like more information on them or the wider work of the STUC please contact Paul Flynn, PDA National Officer for Scotland by emailing [email protected].
Those who are currently MPharm students or trainee pharmacists and interested in getting involved with the PDA, there is the opportunity to become a PDA Student Rep or a PDA Trainee Rep. The role involves sharing information and feeding back on student/trainee issues and concerns so that the PDA can lobby on members behalf, communicate, issue relevant guidance and support, and where appropriate, campaign for and with members.
