125 Votes (94%) were in favour of the PDA Union being recognised to represent those employees at the company, just 8 votes were against.
Mark Pitt, PDA Union General Secretary said, “Pharmacists have given an overwhelming mandate to the PDA Union to represent them at work. We hope to build a positive relationship with the employer that can benefit both pharmacists and the business.
“I would like to thank all those who participated in the ballot, and especially those pharmacists that originally asked the PDA Union to explore recognition at this company. Their desire for an independent voice at work has now been realised through the collective action of their professional colleagues.”
More details of the result will follow shortly.
