This exciting opportunity would be ideal for PDA members looking to support fellow pharmacists, whilst developing their personal and professional skills as part of a team of experienced and dedicated Trustees, volunteers and staff.
Pharmacist Support wants to continue to ensure that their services reflect the needs of and are accessible to all in their ‘Pharmacy family’. They welcome interest from individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience, both pharmacists and non-pharmacists. This is a genuine opportunity to be part of a diverse team working towards change.
Those with no previous experience as a Trustee are still encouraged to apply. Applicants having ‘lived experience’ is more important than previous experience as full training will be given.
Everyday life can get busy, therefore it is important that applicants know how much time they will need to do the role properly. The time commitment equates to around a day per month made up through quarterly board meetings and time to input on charity matters. This time commitment may be higher for officers and committee members.
Pharmacist Support is committed to offering flexibility and will try to accommodate personal availability wherever possible.
