Pharmacist Support understands it can be difficult to find time to prioritise wellbeing, especially for those trainee pharmacists in the run-up to the assessment. This year the campaign focuses on helping trainees to feel mentally prepared for their assessment, to get ready for life as a fully qualified pharmacist, and to put everyday wellbeing into practice.
Throughout the week, those who sign up will receive free, dedicated, and exclusive wellbeing information and practical material specifically for trainee pharmacists. This includes tips and insights from newly qualified pharmacists, workshops and videos to help in preparing for the assessment, a pack to help in managing the transition from being a trainee to being a pharmacist, and lots more! To benefit from all of this, trainee pharmacists will need to sign up to the campaign.
ACTNow encourages trainee pharmacists to:
- Allow time for wellbeing
- Consider the needs of others
- Take action
- Now!

More about Pharmacist Support
Pharmacist Support is an independent charity providing a wide variety of free and confidential support services to those working and studying in pharmacy. They are proud to be able to support people from such a caring profession and each year provide thousands of acts of support. Their mission is for no one in pharmacy to face challenging times without them by their side.
The PDA donates £1 per member per year to the charity and also enables pharmacists to donate as part of their joining or renewal of PDA membership. This has provided more than £250,000 to the charity since the PDA began the arrangement in 2017.
What is wellbeing?
Wellbeing is the state of having good mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose, and the ability to manage stress. It’s important to realise that wellbeing is a much deeper concept than moment-to-moment happiness, and everyone must invest in it in order to have sustained happiness, control of emotions, higher productivity, and good physical health.
