The PDA believes that potentially, this could transform the role of community pharmacy and be a watershed moment for patients and pharmacists in England.
However, the representatives of employed and locum pharmacists (the PDA) were not involved in the development or planning for the service and since the launch announcement in mid-November many PDA members have raised concerns about potential issues with how, and when it is being introduced.
To help inform the PDA’s activity, pharmacists working in Community Pharmacy in England are invited to complete this survey by Sunday 14 January 2024.
The PDA thanks all respondents in advance for your time and support.
