PSNI Consultation on Premises Standards for Registered Pharmacies

The PSNI is consulting on new Premises Standards for Registered Pharmacies. We invite members to share their views with us to inform our response.

Tue 17th October 2017 The PDA

The PDA responds to consultations from regulators and others on matters that affect pharmacists. Our previous consultation responses can be found by clicking here.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is consulting from 2 October to 27 November 2017 on proposed new premises standards for retail pharmacy businesses, provided at or from a registered pharmacy. Its expectation is that these will be met by pharmacy owners and superintendents.

We will be responding to this consultation and would welcome feedback from our members to help inform our response. You can give your feedback to us by sending an email to consultations@the-pda.org with ‘PSNI Premises Standards’ in the subject line. You may also want to respond directly to the consultation as an individual, and we encourage those who have views on the subject to do so.

The consultation documents, the proposed new standards and details of how to respond individually can be found at the link below, under ‘Current Consultations’.
