PDA announces Regional Committee Election Results

Your Regional Committee is made up of elected members, pharmacists like you, from different sectors of the profession who collectively and individually have responsibility for recruiting, engaging and representing members in their region.

Fri 5th March 2021 The PDA

PDA members around the UK have been voting to elect new members to their Regional Committees as part of the election process, voting closed at 5 pm on Thursday 4 March 2021. The independent scrutineer from UK Engage has verified the results and we can now announce the following committee members:

Northern England

Hospital – Louise Ryan & Wesley Artist

Primary Care – Alan Bradley & Eghe Bere
Community – Jayesh Ladva, Darren Powell & Ekaitz Unanue

Scotland & Northern Ireland

Primary Care – Laura Kearney & Iain Speirits

South East England

Congratulations to members who have been duly elected to their Regional Committees; you will receive written confirmation along with the appropriate paperwork from the PDA by Friday 12th March 2021. The final stage is the Executive Committee ratification process.

We look forward to welcoming you at the next round of Regional Committee Meetings in the Spring.

Thank you also, to members who were nominated and unfortunately on this occasion were unsuccessful in their election campaigns. We hope you will continue to be involved with the union. Your Regional Official will be in touch with you shortly.

Current committees stay in post until 31 March and new committee members commence their terms of office on 1 April 2021.
