The BBC is today highlighting an investigation it has undertaken about prescription drugs being sold online without robust checks.
The PDA has previously cautioned pharmacist prescribers who work for online pharmacies about the specific risks associated with remote prescribing using a questionnaire-based model, typically with no direct prescriber/patient interaction and has issued several articles and alerts in this regard.
The recent news coverage provides another opportunity to reiterate the advice issued to members in July 2022.
