Boots pharmacists & trainee pharmacists (called pre-reg until end of summer 2021): Urgent Action required if you haven’t received your ballot papers

Eligible pharmacists who have not yet received a ballot paper should request theirs today in order that there is still time for it to reach them, to complete it and for the completed paper to reach Kanto in time to be counted.

Fri 22nd February 2019 PDA Union

All registered and trainee pharmacist (called pre-reg until end of summer 2021) store-based pharmacists at levels 5,6 and 7 who are employed by Boots Management Services Ltd are entitled to vote in the ballot for union recognition and should have received their ballot papers by today.

If you consider that you are eligible to vote and have not received a ballot paper by 22 February 2019, please contact the CAC Case Manager, Linda Lehan, by email at llehan@cac.gov.uk giving your full name and address.

You can vote whether or not you are a union member. The deadline for completed ballot papers to be received by Kanto is 11 March. However they must first be dispatched, reach you via the mail and then need to return through the mail to Kanto, so there is no time to waste and if you want to make sure you get a say in this ballot you should request your missing ballot paper TODAY.

If you have received your ballot paper, but not yet returned it then please do not delay.  Every vote counts and unless 40% or more of eligible votes are in favour then nothing will change and pharmacists will be blocked from trying again for three years.
