Last year, the PDA and its charity partner Pharmacist Support delivered two science behind wellbeing workshops for PDA members. Due to the high demand, the workshop is returning next month to continue to support pharmacists to manage stress and improve mental health.
The online workshop will explore what happens in the body and mind when stressed, look at practices that can help, and explore the science behind these practices.
It will also cover:
- Self-care and wellbeing
- Relaxation and meditation
- Sleep
- Relationships
- And more, as well as the neuroscience behind everything!
The workshop will return on Tuesday 26 September, from 7 pm to 8.30 pm.

Multiple surveys over the years have found that for many pharmacists, the stress and pressures they face in the workplace have a hugely negative impact on their mental health and wellbeing. Therefore, the PDA believes it’s essential that workshops like this are available to all pharmacists.
Pharmacist Support is also on hand for pharmacists who are struggling with stress and mental health. The trusted charity provides a wide variety of support services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy students.
