PDA Education receives positive member feedback

The PDA Education Hub is an online platform that provides free training to PDA members. The PDA has always wanted to ensure that members are supported in a wide range of ways and the delivery of the Education Hub to be part of this support was accelerated due to the global pandemic.

Third-year pharmacy students: Oriel applications are now open

Oriel applications are now open for third-year students in England, Scotland and Wales who wish to begin their training in July/August 2022. The application deadline is Wednesday 23 June 2021.

The PDA is committed to supporting members throughout their journey to becoming qualified pharmacists. As part of this work, the PDA regularly listen to the concerns of pharmacy students in order to offer them help and support. Hannah Baker is currently working with the PDA as a Student Recruitment Assistant and shares her journey of speaking to first-year students to gain an understanding of their needs.

During our pharmacy degree, we have classes and exams to practise and see where we can improve. Whether working in a hospital, community, GP, or practising in class, how we communicate helps us to properly consult. It also affects the trust that patients and other healthcare providers have in us.
