The annual event is an opportunity for healthcare professionals to honour their innovative peers and their projects along with their own extraordinary work. The PDA was pleased to once again sponsor the Pharmacy Student Leadership Award, which was won by David Dinneen a student at Queen’s University Belfast.

Each year, the PDA sponsors the Student Leadership category of the Northern Irish, Welsh, and Scottish Pharmacy Awards. PDA representatives attend the award ceremonies and present the award to the winner.
The annual awards night is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all the hard work of healthcare professionals from all sectors. This year the awards night attracted a guest list of 300-plus industry giants, service providers, and student enthusiasts.
As part of the ceremony’s closing moments, Health Minister, Robin Swann bestowed the 2022 Special Recognition title upon former Head of the Vaccination Programme in Northern Ireland, Patricia Donnelly. Patricia received the Special Recognition Award for stabilising force throughout the pandemic’s unpredictability.
