UPDATE: Partial resolution secured for prov-reg pharmacists being blocked from working via NHS Bank

The PDA has already achieved partial progress for provisionally registered pharmacists who were being blocked from working on the NHS bank via NHS professionals and will continue to pursue this issue.

PDA launch Provisional Registration Charter

The PDA has today launched a Provisional Registration Charter to support those that are eligible for this new role in pharmacy. This is following the GPhC's decision to postpone the 2020 pre-reg assessment and create a new role for pre-regs that will allow them to practice as a responsible pharmacist.

PDA reveal the results of their second pre-reg COVID-19 survey

The PDA has analysed the results of their second pre-reg COVID-19 survey and can now reveal the responses to questions relating to the pre-reg year and particularly the 39 week assessment.

PDA will be constructively challenging the proposals as the first ever “Prov-Regs” are confirmed by Regulator.

As the independent trade union for pre-registration pharmacists, the PDA will be representing the interests of the class of 2020 following a decision by the GPhC Council on Thursday to enable the provisional registration of “newly qualified” pharmacists from 1 July (Prov-Regs)
