It’s Time to Address Discrimination: Standing up for Sitting Down

Today the PDA Ability Network is launching its ‘Standing up for Sitting Down’ campaign against disability discrimination. The network is encouraging members to exercise their rights by calling on employers to make appropriate reasonable adjustments and will also work with members to create a culture where there is zero tolerance for discrimination.

It’s Time to Address Stress: Action plan

The PDA has launched a stress action plan to help members address workplace stressors. The plan is part of the PDA's ongoing 'It's Time' campaign and will identify actions that can be taken to reduce stress and improve their working lives.

Concerns such as not being able to take rest breaks, poor communication, and lack of staff resources are regularly being highlighted by PDA members and PDA Reps at meetings and in calls to the PDA Service Centre.
