This long-awaited launch event will take place online on Wednesday 6 July 2022 from 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm.
The toolkit which is based on Roger Kline’s research, includes the Race and Ethnicity Terminology Factsheet, Roger Kline’s six essential criteria to improve fairer recruitment and career progression, a Member & Employer Questionaire, a Trade Union PIPOW (Problem Information Plan and Organising to Win) action plan template, and the PDA Anti-Racist Charter Principles.
At the event, there will be an explanation of how pharmacists can practically use the toolkit from identifying the issues to organising their work and coming up with an action plan.
The toolkit aims to empower pharmacists to lead change locally, in their workplaces, and in their employers. It can also be adapted for different pharmacy settings and contains the framework that pharmacists can adopt to create an anti-racist work environment.
The toolkit was first introduced at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress 2022 (CPC) and was well received by pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, BAME and non-BAME alike.
This event is exclusively for PDA BAME Network members. To register, please click below.
