PDA urges pharmacists and employers to utilise COVID-19 risk management tool

In the ‘third wave’ of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the daily death tool reaching record levels, the PDA urges pharmacists and employers to utilise their free toolkit that will help to identify and remove risks in community pharmacy.

The PDA launched the risk assessment tool back in June 2020 while we were still in the first wave of the pandemic. The free resource was designed to enable a systematic approach to both assessing and managing the risks of COVID-19 in the community pharmacy as well as building resilience to prevent pharmacy closures.

COVID-19 risk assessments are needed now more than ever to help protect pharmacists, their teams and members of the public that enter the pharmacy.
