Professional Indemnity Insurance Schemes Available

Because pharmacists are involved in such a wide range of activities, it can sometimes be difficult to know exactly which particular cover level is most appropriate.

It is important for members, when taking out their Professional Indemnity insurance, to ensure that they have an adequate level of protection for the work that they do. From an insurance point of view, underwriters have decided that each activity has a different risk profile and therefore a different level of cover is required. This means that there are eight different cover levels available, each with a different level of risk.
