Have you completed the Safer Pharmacies Survey 2020 yet?

In our fifth annual patient safety survey, we ask that you spare a few minutes to share your experience of safety in the workplace. If we can get enough responses, it could really help to change things for the better. Our previous survey results have featured in pharmacy media, national newspapers and on television, and they help us to influence and draw attention to the issues pharmacists face which affect patient safety. When you tell us how it is, we do the same when we meet with the pharmacy regulators, the government and employers.

Can you help pass on an URGENT request to Lloyds pharmacists?

All pharmacists at LloydsPharmacy have the opportunity to pledge their support for the profession to secure an independent voice at work through a trade union recognition agreement. Although we can contact those who are already our members directly, we need the help of our 31,000 members to help us get this message to those Lloyds pharmacists who have not yet joined the PDA.A “recognition agreement” is the mechanism that would mean that through the union’s status as an independent trade union, pharmacists will be able to exercise a collective voice at work.

Please share this information with any pharmacists or pre-registration pharmacists you know who work at LloydsPharmacy.

Many people do not appreciate the range of physical or mental health conditions that can be classed as a “disability”. A significantly increased understanding of the subject is needed in workplaces and across society to underpin equality for people with disabilities.
